Originally from the midwest, Alissa Bailey, or AB to her friends, lived as a trained actress in Chicago and Los Angeles. It was her first trip to the mountains that gave a glimpse to the next phase of her artistry.

Alissa had been making jewelry for friends and family as gifts, but driving a sputtering old Cadillac around Yosemite National Park’s majestic peaks and Evergreens sparked her imagination. She quickly became a Park Ranger stationed at Tioga Pass in the Eastern Sierra, where she lived and collaborated with other like-minded nature lovers and artists. It was during the next two years with the park service that her dreams of becoming a Jeweler and entrepreneur came to fruition.

Alissa completed her formal metal smithing training at the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts in San Francisco, and now works out of her own studio in Oakland, California. All of her creations are fully hand fabricated which makes everything truly unique and one of a kind. Alissa creates a narrative in each wearable memory...a story that revels in the pulse of the city sidewalks, yet aches for the unspoiled calm of a mountain trail.
